Description

The Web Developer is responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function and according to a client's specifications. This role will strive to create visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Development:

Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices.
Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices.
Integrate data from various back-end services and databases.

Maintenance and Troubleshooting:

Maintain, expand, and scale websites.
Troubleshoot and resolve website problems.
Perform regular updates and backups of websites.

User Experience and Interface Design:

Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
Ensure that the website is user-friendly and up-to-date.

Quality Assurance:

Conduct website testing to ensure proper functionality and performance.
Ensure high-quality graphics standards and brand consistency.
Ensure the website is accessible and can function on multiple devices and browsers.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
Proven working experience in web programming.
Top-notch programming skills and in-depth knowledge of modern HTML/CSS.
Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, JavaScript, or Ruby on Rails.
A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices.
Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming, and web application development.
Hands-on experience with network diagnostics, network analytics tools.
Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process.
Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budgets.
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED4,000.00 per month

Experience: Web Development: 1 year (Preferred)
