ABOUT THE JOB

They are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior PHP Developer to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role involves developing and optimizing their PHP-based application supported by a MySQL database. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, solutions-oriented professional capable of managing complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze, understand, and enhance the existing application architecture. Design and develop new features aligned with evolving business needs. Troubleshoot and resolve issues using application logs and debugging tools. Optimize and manage relational data models in MySQL. Adapt and innovate within various technical constraints and frameworks.

Requirements

Required Skills and Expertise

Core Programming Skills

Advanced proficiency in PHP 7/8 with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Expertise in REST API development and consumption, particularly with OAuth2 authentication. Proficiency in at least one PHP framework (e.g., Laravel, Symfony, Yii). Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES5), jQuery, and familiarity with React.js or Next.js (preferred).

Development Environment

Experience with Docker for containerization. Strong knowledge of version control systems (Git/GitHub). Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform and its services is advantageous.

Technical Environment Overview

Languages: PHP 7/8, JavaScript (ES5), jQuery. Database: MySQL. Cloud Services: Google Cloud Platform, Google Storage.

Candidate Requirements

Exceptional ability to articulate technical concepts clearly in English. Confidence in explaining complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Benefits

Location: Dubai Media City, UAE. Type: Full-time Onsite. Working Hours: 40 hours/week. Leave Entitlement: 30 annual leave days and 15 sick leave days per year.

Profile Requirements

Fluency in Chinese Mandarin and English is a must. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in AI development and implementation. Evidence of strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, and C++. Knowledge of machine learning libraries/frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and sci-kit-learn. Solid understanding of AI algorithms, including deep learning and reinforcement learning. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
