Senior JavaScript Developer (MarTech)

This role is an exciting opportunity to build and maintain high-performance marketing technology platforms in a fast-paced, international environment. As a Senior JavaScript Developer, you will primarily focus on backend development while contributing to full-stack projects that power landing pages, experimentation platforms, and analytics tools.

You will work with modern technologies such as Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka, and ClickHouse, designing REST-like APIs and ensuring system reliability and scalability. The position offers collaboration with distributed teams, ownership over CI/CD pipelines, and involvement in performance optimization and testing strategies. Your contributions will directly impact marketing automation capabilities and the performance of high-traffic digital products.

Lead backend and full-stack development efforts for marketing technology platforms, including REST-like APIs and experimentation tools. Maintain and optimize high-performance landing pages platforms with features like A/B testing and multi-armed bandits. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions. Build and support systems using Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, Kafka, ClickHouse, and Cloudflare Workers. Write unit and integration tests to ensure robust and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable, maintainable, and high-load applications. Ensure backend performance, stability, and adherence to modern web architecture best practices.

5+ years of experience in JavaScript/TypeScript development with a strong backend focus. Deep understanding of modern web application architecture and REST-like APIs. Hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and backend frameworks for high-throughput applications. Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration for development and deployment. Knowledge of frontend basics: HTML, CSS, layout, and vanilla JavaScript. Experience with CI/CD tools and maintaining pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions). Experience working with NoSQL databases and query optimization principles. Ability to develop, maintain, and optimize high-load systems with a focus on performance and reliability. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with international, distributed teams.
