About the role

We are looking for a skilled React Frontend Developer with expertise in Hyvä theme development and customization for Magento 2-based eCommerce platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building high-performance, scalable, and responsive UI components using React.js, as well as working with the Hyvä theme to enhance the frontend of Magento stores. You will collaborate with backend developers, designers, and stakeholders to create seamless and optimized user experiences. This role requires expertise in React.js, modern UI frameworks, and performance optimization to build scalable and responsive web applications. You will be a part of a full-stack creative team that is responsible for all aspects of the ongoing software development from the initial specification, through to developing, testing, and launching.

About you

You will have a minimum of 5-7 years of Frontend Development experience.

Education Qualifications: Related Graduate with any IT specialization. Any supporting credential for frontend development and E-Commerce will be a plus.

You will have prior experience in Magento PWA or headless commerce projects and experience working with Hyvä Checkout and customizing its components. You will have a basic understanding of PHP and Magento 2 backend workflows.

You will also have the below skills:

Strong proficiency in React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Hands-on experience with Hyvä theme development and customization.
Expertise in Alpine.js and Tailwind CSS (essential for Hyvä).
Experience integrating React with Magento 2 and handling frontend logic.
Familiarity with Magento 2's API structure (GraphQL, REST APIs).
Understanding of Redux, Context API, or other state management libraries.
Experience with frontend build tools such as Webpack, Vite, Babel.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization techniques.
Version control proficiency with Git, or Bitbucket.
