Summary
Senior Backend Engineer needed urgently in Abu Dhabi. Requires Python, FastAPI, REST API, microservices expertise, and 5-7+ years' experience.
Description

We're seeking a Senior Backend Engineer with solid hands-on experience in Python, REST APIs, FastAPI, and microservices to work on a long-term project based in Abu Dhabi. This is an urgent requirement, so candidates who are available on short notice will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python and FastAPI
Collaborate closely with front-end engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality features
Lead backend architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions
Optimize database queries and backend systems for performance and scalability
Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the development lifecycle
Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership

Key Requirements:
5-7+ years of experience as a Backend Engineer
Strong proficiency in Python and FastAPI
Experience with microservices architecture
Knowledge of frontend frameworks (React, Vue.js) for better cross-functional collaboration
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
Solid understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
