Multibank Group is looking for an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our fast-paced team in the fintech and forex trading sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building secure, scalable, and high-performance backend systems that support our innovative trading platforms.

Responsibilities
Write secure, clean code for web applications.
Design client-side and server-side architecture.
Develop and manage well-functioning databases and applications.
Write effective, secure and industry accepted APIs.
Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency.
Supports and troubleshoots existing applications.
Evaluates and analyzes business requirements for new systems and system changes.
Maintenance and enhancement of existing applications.

Qualifications
4+ years of experience with full lifecycle of project development, preferably in fintech or financial services.
Strong skills in PHP (symfony/laravel).
Extensive experience in software design, architecture, development integration.
Solid knowledge of event processing models, multi-threading, enterprise integration pattern, Web Service and REST.
Experience with databases such as MySQL, Oracle and Postgre.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs design.
Understanding of MVC design patterns.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process and using collaboration tools, such as Jira, Trello, Slack, etc.
Autonomous, critical-thinker & problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset.
Experience with containerization (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge on AWS lambda and messaging queue preferred.

Preferred Qualifications
Linux knowledge.
Distributed/remote/global team working experience.
Your active GitHub/NPM portfolio.
Familiarity with the whole web stack, including protocols and server-side techniques.
Familiar with Server-Side Rendering.
Familiar with the source code of one or two famous front-end libraries.
Knowledge of TypeScript.
