Responsibilities:
1. Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers.
2. Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
3. Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
4. Integration of data storage solutions.
5. Write clean, readable, and performant code.
6. Hands-on with code versioning tools - Git.

Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of the following in Laravel:
- Routing, middleware, CSRF, controllers, requests, responses, views, blade template, URL generation, session, validation, security, database, Eloquent ORM, API documentation, custom Laravel commands, broadcasting, Radis, MongoDB.
- Planning and implementing API integrations with third parties when required.
- Support PHP Laravel implementations and resolve technical issues.

Technical Competencies:
- JavaScript language.
- Backend development in the Node.js ecosystem.
- Hands-on experience with the best design patterns.
- 2+ years of experience in backend technology with Node.js.
- Knowledge of web frameworks, e.g., Express.js, Sails.js, Socket.io, etc.
- Able to create database schemes that represent and support business processes.
- Understanding of open-source SQL and NoSQL data storage solutions like MongoDB, MySQL, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with GCP and AWS cloud services.
- Having good exposure to microservices architecture adds value.

- Familiarity with OAuth, JWT, SSO, authentication, and identity federation is an added advantage.
- Familiar with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Pods, and Meshes are added advantages.
