Based in Middle East, we help millions of consumers find their homes online, and real estate agents and property developers sell and manage their properties using our web applications, mobile apps and CRM solutions.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a mid-level backend engineer to join our team and work on developing and maintaining the backend systems that power our product. You will be working with Go, Serverless, Kubernetes, AWS, and other technologies to build robust and scalable systems.

Languages: Javascript/Typescript, Golang
Frameworks & Libraries: ReactJS, React Native, next.js, Serverless Framework
Persistent stores: MySQL, Postgres, Redis, Memcached, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, DynamoDB
Platforms & Services: Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions
PaaS: AWS

Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, test and maintain backend systems and services
Optimise APIs for performance
Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation
Troubleshoot and debug systems and services
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing

Essential Experience:
3+ years of experience as a backend engineer
Proficiency in Go
Experience with Kubernetes and Docker
Experience developing RESTful APIs
Knowledge of AWS services (Lambda, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3 etc.)
Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL or other SQL/NoSQL databases
Experience with caching technologies like Redis or Memcached
Knowledge of tech migration to serverless architecture for scalability and cost benefit
Experience with git version control
Knowledge of Test-Driven Dev (TDD), Behaviour-Driven Dev (BDD) and Domain Driven Design (DDD)
