Our client is looking for an experienced iOS Native Developer to join their team.
The team works in short iterations and close collaboration with customers and users. Being involved in grooming new ideas, turning them into features, and making the software run well on their on-premises infrastructure the right candidate has a broad perspective and thrives having an end-to-end responsibility.
They work in a dynamic environment with ever-changing priorities and requirements. To keep up they rely on the latest technologies, extensive use of automation, good teamwork with peer reviews, and a focus on always learning and improving along the way.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
Design and build advanced applications for the iOS platform using Swift and Objective-C.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
Work on bug fixing and improving application performance.
Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in iOS development.
Qualifications
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in iOS development.
Proficient in Swift and Objective-C.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Node.js and React Native is a plus.
Familiarity with VOIP applications and how they run is a BIG plus.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards.
Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred.
Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
Knack for benchmarking and optimization.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Additional Information
Work location: You will be working from our client's office in Dubai.
Job start: As soon as possible but our client is willing to wait for the right candidate.
