Infrastructure Engineer

Key responsibilities and accountabilities Strategic and operational • Design, implement, configure, secure and administer systems and solutions. Design, setup, administer and maintain various servers and operating systems including Windows and Linux • Design, configure, implement, troubleshoot, and support on a variety of systems, including; • Active directory, file servers and the Microsoft exchange email system and Office 365 • VMware infrastructure and NUTANIX • Service desk solution software ( AD Audit, Service desk, Desktop central , Self service ) • Veeam backup, azure backup, zerto, dfs • SFTP solutions • DHCP, DNS • Proxy/Reverse Proxy technologies/tools/solutions. • Azure and AWS infrastructure. • Landing zone, terraform. • Continuously monitor and respond to all network and security events/logs of all relevant systems and devices including Load Balancers, Network / Security Devices, Trading Platform Servers, Active Directory Servers and other Windows / Linux systems • Play critical role in administering existing, updating or creating new Disaster Requirement infrastructure environments across all offices as required Skills • Communication – listening, speaking, writing and presenting • Problem solving – analytical and creative • Collaboration – team working and networking to synthesize the views and ideas of others • Language – fluency in spoken and written English • Resilience and comfort with ambiguity – coping with and succeeding despite uncertainty • Willingness to learn – being open to acquire new knowledge and develop new skills • Time management – prioritizing and carrying out tasks in a timely manner Requirements Experience • 6 to 7 years supporting similar activities at an international organization ( financial organization) • Certifications in AWS, Azure, MCSE. • Knowledge of AZURE and AWS cloud infrastructure and support experience. • Knowledge in ITIL Foundation • Experience in CIS and other server hardening policies and implementation • Knowledge and experience in security tools for monitoring ( AV, Netflow tools , Monitoring tools) • Knowledge in Terraform infra-as a-code framework • Knowledge of AZURE and AWS cloud infrastructure and support experience • Experience working in a develops infrastructure environment with financial institution preferred • Thorough understanding and working experience in various operating systems and related components • Excellent working experience in VM Ware, Citrix, NUTANIX and/or any other virtualization environment including Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) • Knowledge and experience in Security tools, devices and solutions • Knowledge in SharePoint, Power automates. • Knowledge in Virtual switches, • Knowledge in Veeam and Azure backup. • Knowledge in patch management of server infrastructure using desktop central. • Knowledge and experience in disaster recovery solutions in cloud as well as on premise using various technologies. • Knowledge in One drive • Knowledge in group policies, Power shell scrips, registry modifications. • Knowledge in external and internal DNS management • Knowledge in external and internal certificate management • Knowledge in Unified Access gateway and its usage. • Knowledge in centralized print management solutions. • Knowledge in Terraform infra-as a-code framework. • Knowledge in Implementation of Windows WVD. • Knowledge in Multifactor Authentication, Azure AD connect and Service principals. • Knowledge in Jira, Confluence, Bamboo and Bit bucket ( server and cloud ) • Knowledge in Automation. • Knowledge in Data center management. • Knowledge in regulatory policies
