Summary

Position: Develop e-commerce sites, manage CMS, and create responsive interfaces. Requires 5+ years experience, HTML/CSS/JS skills, and CMS expertise.

Description

Responsibilities:

Architecting and developing complete e-commerce websites with secure payment gateway integration and product management systems
Building dynamic websites with Content Management Systems (CMS) like WordPress, including custom theme and plugin development
Developing responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Implementing and managing database structures to support website functionality and data storage
Troubleshooting and resolving website issues, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
Collaborating with designers, content creators, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality web solutions
Keeping up-to-date with the latest web development trends and technologies to implement best practices

Requirements:

At least 5 years professional working experience in a similar capacity
Solid understanding of core front-end development languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their application in building interactive user interfaces
Demonstrable experience working with at least one popular CMS platform (ideally WordPress) for content management and website development
Generic understanding of back-end development principles and exposure to a server-side language such as PHP, Python, Node.js, or similar
Familiarity with database concepts and experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)
Experience in building and integrating APIs for data exchange and third-party services
Understanding of responsive design principles and experience in creating websites that adapt to various screen sizes
A portfolio or examples of successfully launched e-commerce or dynamic websites you have developed
Familiarity with Sitecore (advantageous)
