We are on the lookout for a focused Backend Developer to join our awesome team at DMCG Global in Dubai.

DMCG Global are working in partnership with a start-up that have recently received funding from a Saudi VC firm.
The company develops e-commerce software that helps retail businesses operate more efficiently and are looking to expand their engineering team in Egypt.

Responsibilities:

· Write clean, maintainable, quality code for software development
· Write a unit/integration test for their code
· Work collaboratively as a team aligning with company goals and timelines
· Guide junior engineers and offer technical advice
· Review code, provide useful comments and challenge solutions

What you will need:

· 5+ years software engineering experience
· Experience with PHP Laravel (NodeJS, Golang, .net core is a bonus)
· Strong understanding of back-end development for Cloud applications
· Experienced in design and development of third party API integration
· Knowledge of large scale systems and architecture patterns
· Experience with relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL/Mysql) and non relational (MongoDB)
· Knowledge of AWS services
· Familiar with Agile methodologies
