Android Developer

Our client is seeking a talented and motivated Android Developer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define app features, enhance user experiences, and ensure the delivery of robust applications that meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
Application Development: Design and build advanced applications for the Android platform using Java and Kotlin.
User Interface Design: Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code that provides a seamless user experience.
Integration: Work with back-end developers to integrate APIs and other services into mobile applications.
Performance Optimization: Identify and troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, ensuring the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Testing and Debugging: Conduct unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and reliability.
Code Quality: Maintain code quality, organization, and automation through best practices in coding standards.
Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in mobile application development.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in Android development with a strong portfolio of published applications.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin programming languages.
Strong understanding of Android SDK, Android Studio, and related development tools.
Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
Familiarity with Material Design principles and guidelines for creating intuitive user interfaces.

Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of SQL databases and experience with cloud services (e.g., Firebase).
Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile methodologies.
