AI Data Engineer - Fintech/Financial Services, Data Analytics, AI, SQL, Python

This role can be based in Dubai, Istanbul or Vienna

Austin Werner, a reputable Crypto and Fintech recruitment business with a footprint in the UK and UAE, is pleased to present an exclusive opportunity for a number of Data Engineers to join a brand new AI team at an extremely fast-growing, super high net worth-backed crypto and payments/fintech on a mission to disrupt the financial ecosystem by launching a cutting-edge Ecosystem.

As an organization committed to fostering excellence and driving innovation, we are seeking a number of Data Engineers (AI) to design, build and maintain the data infrastructure required for AI Development, across one of the below squads:

Marketing & Customer Services
Fraud, Transaction and KYC
Developer Support

Responsibilities for the AI Data Engineer - Fintech/Financial Services, Data Analytics, AI, SQL, Python role:

Design and implement data pipelines and ETL processes, as well as data abstraction layers for legacy data sources.
Build and maintain data warehouses and data lakes.
Ensure data quality and integrity, ensuring documentation is up to date and reflects the data structures.
Optimize data storage and retrieval.
Collaborate with data scientists and developers to provide data support.
Work with database systems like PostgreSQL.

Qualifications for the AI Data Engineer - Fintech/Financial Services, Data Analytics, AI, SQL, Python role:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
Strong experience in data engineering and ETL processes.
Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java.
Extensive experience working in data analytics within Financial Services applications.
Experience with private cloud, and on-premise based data platforms and tools.
Knowledge of data warehousing and data lake concepts.
Awareness of data sovereignty and privacy best-practices.
