Web Developer Specialist

Responsibilities

Oversee website/applications design and creation, using authoring or scripting languages, content creation tools, management tools, and digital media.

Create web services as needed

Create database queries and procedures as needed

Analyze user needs to determine technical

Create web models or prototypes that include physical, interface, logical, or data

Incorporate technical considerations into website/application design plans, such as budgets, equipment, performance requirements, or legal issues including accessibility and

Research, document, rate, or select alternatives for web architecture or

Select programming languages, design tools, or

Develop system interaction or sequence

Provide clear, detailed descriptions of Malaffi website/application specifications such as product features, activities, software, communication protocols, programming languages, and operating systems software and

Document technical factors such as server load, bandwidth, database performance, and browser and device

Confer with Malaffi Management or Technology and Operations teams to prioritize needs, resolve conflicts, develop content criteria, or choose

Evaluate code to ensure that it is valid, is properly structured, meets industry standards and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating

Develop or validate test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device

Document test plans, testing procedures, or test results.

Install and configure hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP) servers and associated operating

Identify problems uncovered by testing or customer feedback, and correct problems or refer problems to appropriate personnel for

Monitor security system performance logs to identify problems and notify security specialists when problems occur.

Develop databases that support web applications and web

Perform website/application tests according to planned schedules or after any website or product

Recommend and implement performance

Design and implement website/application security measures such as firewalls or message

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related fields.

5 to 8 years’ experience as a Web designer/developer (and must be able to demonstrate that experience in creating websites in a range of formats).

Experience in the healthcare industry would be an advantage.

Strong Development Skills. He/she requires a good understanding of HTML and CSS techniques and must be familiar with database technologies, including Microsoft

Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Web Applications and programming languages such as .Net, JQuery and APIs

Deep functional knowledge or hands-on design experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP, )
