Summary

QuantumGate seeks Application Developers to innovate in post-quantum cryptography, focus on mobile app development, and enhance cloud-based solutions and security protocols.

Description

QuantumGate is a startup within VentureOne, supported by the Advanced Technology Research Council (ATRC) and its research arm, the Technology Innovation Institute (TII). We specialize in developing and commercializing advanced post-quantum cryptographic solutions, with a mission to secure enterprise digital environments through cutting-edge protocols and applications that tackle the challenges of the post-quantum era.

We seek highly skilled and experienced Application Developers to join our dynamic team to build our next cloud-based product. Providing a virtual Android service, mobile applications, infrastructure, and virtual machine scalability, security, and overall service scalability.

Responsibilities

Contribute to the initial planning and design of mobile applications (primarily Android and iOS based) and be responsible for the building, development, maintenance, deployment, and support of the application when it is in development and production.
Contributing towards application solution and system integration improvements over time including but not limited to Performance of the application.
Responsible for the design, planning, and engineering (building, development, customization, and maintenance) of Android (AOSP) baseline running in a cloud environment (virtual machine based).
Cloud application front end design, planning, and development using cloud-based technologies for management and administration functions for the overall solution.
Cloud service connectivity development – network and remote viewer protocol design, development, and support.
Familiarity or experience with Security concepts, planning, and development including but not limited to authentication, authorization, policy and access rights, key management, Secure boot mechanisms, integrity, and attestation.
Working as part of a development team and a production team involving infrastructure team, cloud service and applications team, mobile client team, and quality assurance team both in development and production.
In all of the above areas performance improvement during the lifecycle of the product and product development phases.
Possibly working with end customers integrations.

Requirements

Android application development, iOS application development – native and/or cross-platform.
Android and Apple application building and deployment - Google Play Store and/or Apple App Store.
Android AOSP development – including but not limited to build systems, Android system frameworks and libraries and using, configuring, debugging, and development.
Knowledge and experience with Android Cuttlefish project.
WebRTC or similar remote audio/video streaming and capturing technologies or projects.
Cloud application front end development, building, maintenance, and support.
Experience with cloud-based and mass user-based products and services. 10+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on application development.
Experience in delivering applications described above to productization quality levels.
Knowledge of and experience of application security practices and tools.
Ability to contribute and work with local and remote teams, follow through on execution and report in regular cadence to team members and project leads (architects and project managers).
Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

AOSP/Android development, iOS development, WebRTC, Angular, ReactNative, Ionic Cordova, Capacitor.
Technologies such as Flutter, Azure, Google Cloud, Kubernetes, Terraform, Tekton are a plus.
